“And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
When God Remains Strong
God remains strong even when we feel anything but strong ourselves.
Most of us spend a great deal of energy trying to hide our weaknesses.
We want others to believe we have everything under control.
We hesitate to admit when we’re tired.
Discouraged.
Confused.
Or simply overwhelmed.
Yet Scripture reveals something surprising.
God does some of His greatest work precisely in the places where we finally admit we cannot do everything ourselves.
Weakness Is Not Failure
The world often teaches that weakness should be avoided.
Faith teaches something entirely different.
Weakness is not the opposite of faith.
It is often the doorway to deeper dependence upon God.
The Apostle Paul prayed repeatedly for God to remove his struggle.
Instead, God answered with these words:
“My grace is sufficient for you.”
Not because Paul’s weakness disappeared.
But because God’s strength became greater than Paul’s limitation.
God’s Strength Changes Everything
Yesterday we reflected on how God gives strength for today.
Today we discover something even more encouraging.
God remains strong even when our own strength begins to fail.
His faithfulness never weakens.
His wisdom never becomes uncertain.
His love never grows tired.
His grace never runs out.
That means our confidence is never built upon how strong we feel.
It is built upon who God is.

Live From God’s Strength
Imagine how differently we would face each day if we stopped measuring our ability and started trusting God’s.
Instead of saying,
“I can’t.”
Faith quietly answers,
“God can.”
Instead of focusing on our limitations…
We begin resting in His limitless power.
That changes every challenge.
Every conversation.
Every uncertainty.
Every prayer.
Because God remains strong, we never walk through any moment alone.
His Grace Is Enough
God never promised His children a life without weakness.
He promised something better.
His presence.
His grace.
His strength.
If you feel weary today…
Do not allow weakness to convince you that God has left you.
It may simply be the place where He is preparing to demonstrate His faithfulness most clearly.
God remains strong, and His grace is still sufficient for you today.
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You that I do not have to depend upon my own strength. When I feel weak, remind me that Your grace is sufficient and Your power is never diminished. Help me trust You more than I trust my own abilities. Teach me to rely upon Your strength each day and to rest in Your faithful presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
